Durham is located in Southwest Washington County on Hwy 16 east.
These boys are 13-14 years of age. So, this picture was probably taken around 1932-1933.
Carl and Clyde Lewis are brothers. Lynn and Sherman Robbins are brothers. Kermos Robbins is a cousin of the Robbins brothers. The Robbins, Watts , Jones and Lewis families are all related.
Maning Summers was the son of the Railroad depot agent in Durham. Mr. Summers was disabled and he remained the depot agent until the railroad closed.
